About Us

We are a Brisbane based design consultancy with extensive experience in Wayfinding Strategies, Production, Design and Documentation Services. With the complete end user experience in mind we masterplan, design and document signage to tender stage. We also deliver visual communication solutions including Graphic design, Corporate Identity, Retail and Commercial Fit-outs, Exhibitions, Print and Marketing Design.

Wood and Wood is managed by Grant Manning (Projects Director) and by our Senior Designers Andrew Watson, and Edwina Serisier.

While incorporating clever design rationale with proven signage and wayfinding strategy we consider all issues from visual aesthetics to the practical aspects of production, budget and time scale.

From architectural plans and site surveys at the initial stages, we develop wayfinding strategies and conceptual drawings into full colour comprehensive specification schedules to meet the intended brief or budget. We can also provide a design and construct service - project managing all areas of manufacture and installation.

All drawings are in full colour and clearly detail scaled elevations, plans and required sections to accurately show construction, materials, finishes, fixing methods and graphic layout guidelines. This provides transparent representations for the client to approve and the sign manufacturer to interpret.
