Andrew Watson (Bdes MDIA) Product/Industrial Designer

Andrew brings a worth of knowledge, passion and inspiration to the studio. A graduate from the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University, with a Bachelor of Design in Product Design, Andrew received awards for Academic Excellence in 2005 and 2006 ranking in the top 5% of students at Griffith University. In 2008 he will undertake a Master of Design at Griffith University whilst maintaining part-time employment at Wood and Wood Design. Andrew has a wide range of knowledge spanning many disciplines of design. His first hand expertise in the metal manufacturing industry augments his signage design skills. Andrew has designed signage solutions for Southbank, Twenty 20 (International Cricket Council), Homeworld and Junior Petroleum.

Whilst working as a freelance Product Designer, Andrew has undertaken various contrasts in the fields of graphic design, electronics, OEM manufacturing and toy design/production. He was involved in various projects in the graphics and interior design departments at Minale Bryce between 2005 and 2007.
