Currently employed as a senior designer, Andrew is a sessional teacher at Griffith University, Queensland College of Art (QCA) and has recently completed the Master of Design program. For his thesis Andrew designed and developed a product to assist with the management of stress and anxiety. He also holds a Bachelors Degree in Product Design from QCA.

During his Undergraduate & Postgraduate career, Andrew received many academic awards including the Highest Grade Point Average in his Product Design cohort (2007) and the Griffith University Award for Academic Excellence in 2005, 2006, and 2007 placing him in the top 5% of all students. Andrew received the Graphisoft award for Best Achievement in Product Computer Modelling (2007) for his high level of Cad based 3D modeling skills. He also won first place at the 2007 IES Student Luminaire Design Competition for conceptualising a wireless Luminaire that functions on conductive liquid. Andrew has been granted membership and an award from the Golden Key International Honour Society, and was awarded with the Godfrey Rivers Medal (highest grade point average, 150 students) at his graduation in recognition of his academic achievements.
